About Me

My name is Michelle Cannon and I live in my own little world.

Wait.. No, that's doesn't sound right. I actually share this world with other Sun-Fried Tomatoes Floridians and 5 children (some adult; some kids but all mine). I have lived in Florida for the majority of my life although my home state of Tennessee holds an equally special place in my heart. 

I have always been a nature lover to a degree, but homeschooling has taught me to really explore nature to its fullest. Alongside my children, I hike the trails and state forests of Florida, study any little critter that crosses my path and just enjoy creation.

About this Blog

This is a personal blog written for the purpose of sharing. This is where I'll share anything that happens in my little world. I may post a funny conversation, a recipe or information about a hiking trip. It's a hodgepodge of sorts.

Life in the South, and more specifically Florida, is a quite different culture than other areas. This is where you'll find photos, hikes and anything else I can find to post about Life on this crazy planet called Florida. How I came to begin this blog can be viewed here.

I welcome you to come along for the hike. Afterwards, we'll sit on the front porch sippin' sweet tea and watchin' the kids play in the sprinkler.
